Jason joined the recruitment industry in 1999 after practising as a lawyer with Baker & McKenzie in Sydney. Shortly after, he started his own firm, which has just celebrated its 12 year anniversary. He focuses on professional legal placements across Australia and overseas for law firms, corporate and not-for-profit organisations.
Jason is a Fellow of the peak recruitment industry body RCSA (Recruitment & Consulting Services Association). He is actively involved in the recruitment industry and was elected to sit on the global Board of Directors of the world’s largest recruitment network – NPA Worldwide.
Jason is admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Asian Studies) and Bachelor of Laws from UNSW. He also speaks French and Indonesian.
Karolina started her career in recruitment in 2003 for a variety of roles including temporary, contract and permanent. Holding a Bachelor of Business with a major in Entrepreneurial Leadership, Karolina prides herself on the high level of customer service she provides to both clients and candidates alike.
She started her recruitment career in Vancouver, Canada as an in-house recruiter for high volume clerical staff. Karolina then moved to large International recruitment agency where she recruited for administrative and accounts roles winning many recruitment awards along the way. After her transfer to Sydney, Australia she worked for a boutique recruitment agency recruiting for roles in operations, clerical support, accounts and management. Most recently Karolina has worked at an educational institution, one of her main responsibilities being recruiting recruiters and sales staff.
Currently Karolina is a Senior Consultant at Elias Recruitment working alongside Jason Elias recruiting for a variety of roles from legal support to lawyers and CEO’s.
Paige De Losa
After practising as a lawyer in Newcastle for over 10 years, Paige joined Elias Recruitment in 2016. She studied law in Newcastle and has worked in both a national firm and boutique local firms, practising in diverse areas of law. More recently, Paige has worked as a lecturer at The University of Newcastle.
Paige is committed to providing a high level of professional legal recruitment to the Newcastle region and beyond. She draws on her knowledge of the region, coupled with her contacts within the legal profession to achieve outstanding results for clients.
Paige is admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW and also holds a Bachelor of Business from Charles Sturt University. Paige is also a director of Learned Friends Professional Education, an organisation that conducts legal conferences around the world.
Rebecca began her recruitment career in 2001 with Hays Personnel, Sydney following a career as a Travel Agent with Flight Centre. She has 10 years experience recruiting across a variety of disciplines and is well regarded as a Generalist Recruiter in the Brisbane and Sydney markets.
Industries she has recruited for include: Accounting and Finance, Credit and Collections, Engineering (Recruiting Expats to Papua New Guinea) and most recently Sales and Marketing professionals in the Technology space nationally.
Currently, Rebecca is a Senior Consultant at Elias Recruitment working with Jason Elias recruiting a variety of roles in the legal profession.
