Our client is an established practice with offices up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
Their business has been going from strength to strength, and the litigation practice has strong partnerships with corporate referrers including liquidators, trustees in bankruptcy and finance brokers.
Due to growth, the business needs an experienced commercial litigator to grow the litigation team in the Sydney CBD office. Working with their established clients and referral sources, you will supervise a small team of lawyers and paralegals in commercial litigation, debt recovery and insolvency matters, and manage the more complex matters yourself.
You are likely to be in a boutique to mid sized firm, with broad commercial litigation skills. Most importantly, you will have strong client management and relationship development abilities which you will use to drive the practice forward. You will also have good networks within the industry, including Counsel, and enjoy mentoring and training lawyers.
You will be rewarded for your efforts, with a great six-figure base salary PLUS the opportunity to earn commission for any work you attract through your networks. There is also the opportunity to be offered a stake in the incorporated business in the future.
