World Cup Tipping Competition Winners
Spain was victorious in the 2010 Fifa World Cup! What a great tournament! We hope you also enjoyed the tipping competition.
First place winner was Narelle aka Everest. She wins a case of wine for her superb effort.
Second place was for the shopping voucher was Eugene (Footworx) and Ian (Skip). The wooden spoon, a pair of footy socks goes to Grant (GT).

NPA accounces new director
Recruitment networking co-operative NPA has announced Julie Parsons as a new director.
Parsons, the managing director of Premium Consulting in Brisbane, joins Elias Recruitment's Jason Elias to represent Australia on the global board. She replaces Christine Sturgess, who has moved to an in-house recruitment role.
Meanwhile, Kevin Gammie of ABT Recruitment in Brisbane has been appointed NPA membership services manager. He will be responsible for growing membership and providing extra services....

Recruiters should stop viewing each other as competition and work together to make more placements, says Elias Recruitment director Jason Elias.
Working with recruiters from other agencies in split-fee arrangements helps him to make around 25 per cent more placements than he otherwise would, he says.

Aussie recruiters nominated to global NPA board
Two Australian recruiters have been nominated to the board of global recruiting network NPA - Jason Elias and Christine Sturgess.
Elias, who owns boutique legal consultancy Elias Recruitment in Sydney, and Sturgess, who owns Orex Retail Search in Melbourne, will represent 130 Australian NPA members for a second two-year term. They were previously co-directors but following a re-structure of the board they will each have a vote, dividing their responsibilities informally so that Elias oversees....
