We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Conveyancer to join their growing team in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in property law and conveyancing, learn the ropes and be supported on their conveyancing career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting solicitors and licensed conveyancers with residential and/or commercial property transactions
- Preparing and reviewing legal documents including contracts, transfer forms, and mortgage documentation
- Conducting title searches and liaising with clients, agents, banks, and other stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Providing high-quality customer service and regular updates to clients throughout the process
- MUST have proven experience in a paralegal, assistant conveyancing or legal support capacity, minimum of 12 years experience.
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and related documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Passion and genuine love for conveyancing
