The Opportunity
This is an excellent role for a junior lawyer (3-5 years PAE) seeking to broaden their exposure across a mix of commercial and property law and leasing matters, with some involvement in litigation and general advisory work. The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers and gain experience managing files end-to-end in a boutique setting where their contribution is truly valued and each day will be different and offer new ways to learn. This opportunity offers a varied workflow with a focus on retail leasing, particularly in the hospitality sector, alongside broader commercial law and litigation support.
Key Areas of Practice
Commercial & Retail Leasing - including negotiation, drafting, and client advisory General Commercial Law - contracts, business structuring, and transactions Litigation - legal research, court documents, and file management
Key Responsibilities
Managing and advising on property/ lease matters, particularly for small to medium businesses
Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and legal correspondence
Supporting senior practitioners in litigation and dispute resolution matters
Providing commercially minded advice and maintaining client relationships
Conducting legal research and contributing to file strategy and development
What You Bring
3-5 years' post-admission experience, ideally with exposure to leasing, commercial transactions, or litigation Excellent drafting, research and communication skills
A proactive and professional attitude
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
A client-focused mindset and a willingness to learn
