ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is on the lookout for a talented and driven Senior Associate or Special Counsel with at least 8 years PQE to join their Property, Planning and Projects team. Working closely with Partners, this is a varied and substantive role well suited to someone who thrives on complexity and is ready to take ownership of sophisticated property matters across a broad client base.
Day-to-day, you can expect to be involved in:
- Preparing and negotiating lease documentation and related agreements
- Guiding clients through complex commercial property transactions from start to finish, acting for both buyers and sellers
- Managing the purchase and disposal of commercial, industrial and rural assets
- Supporting a range of development projects, from residential subdivisions through to large-scale commercial developments, including associated joint venture and access arrangements
- Structuring titles and preparing instruments such as easements and land covenants
- Undertaking comprehensive due diligence across a variety of property matters
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 8 years PQE in property law
- Technically strong, with experience advising on complex and sophisticated property matters
- A confident communicator with sharp attention to detail and solid time management skills
- Competent in MS Office; experience with Affinity or Filesite is a bonus but not essential — full training provided
- Self-motivated and eager to take ownership of your work within a supportive team environment
