About the firm

Our client is a boutique law firm which provides accurate, practical and cost-effective legal assistance for commercial matters. The firm also has a separate property law division. It is a small team lead by two experienced Principal's. They have a relaxed and flexible culture and professional offices in Sydney CBD. You will report to the Commercial Principal and work alongside two senior lawyers and with the support of junior lawyers.

About the role

• 4+ years corporate commercial and property law experience required
• Open to a very senior lawyer able to run the practice independently
• Work with high net worth individuals, families, SME business owners and larger corporates
• A proactive attitude and commercial approach to legal practice
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills
• Able to run matters independently with minimal supervision
• Working on a wide range of matters including:
  • Company start-ups
  • Purchase and sale of companies and businesses
  • Mergers and joint ventures
  • Capital raises
  • Commercial finance and securities
  • Internal company and shareholder matters
  • Corporate governance
  • Structuring and asset protection, and
  • Legal contracts and advice.
