Talent Pool

About

We know from experience that good candidates get snapped up quickly and there are often many inefficiencies in the recruitment process.
Introducing the Elias Recruitment solution

The Elias Legal Talent Pool runs alongside our traditional recruitment services and is a transparent, solution that combines the best of our award-winning recruitment expertise with leading technology to speed up the process and help more great candidates into new roles.

How it works

As Australia’s leading specialist legal recruitment agency, we are consistently approached by great candidates looking for new roles.
When we interview great candidates, in addition to representing them for specific roles where appropriate, we also invite them to allow us to share their profile (anonymously) to our Talent Pool. From there, employers can browse candidates by experience, speciality, location, salary range and more. Once an employer identifies a profile, we seek the candidate’s consent to release more information and run our normal process with coordinating interviews, reference checking and of course our placement guarantee.

We are proud to confirm that all candidates in the talent pool are:

  1. Interviewed by an experienced recruitment consultant with relevant notes including salary details, years of experience.
  2. Ready to start a job immediately (subject to notice periods)
  3. Confirmed to have a minimum of 18 months PQE and of a high calibre. Many have been “silver medallists” in other roles.
There is no fee to access the Talent Pool currently and no costs unless the candidate is hired. Then our normal recruitment fee applies.

Can employers see who you are?
For privacy reasons, all candidate profiles are anonymised. When Employers request a CV, we message you to tell you who the employer is and ask for your consent. You have 100% control over whether your CV/name is released to any particular Employer. You can request to review the anonymised profile to check it does not identify you in any way.
Can I choose particular employers to see if they are interested?

Yes. We can maximise your job opportunities. Let us know which employers are of interest (we can make suggestions) and we can contact them on your behalf. We send them an email with your anonymised profile.

Your identity is protected so you can see their level of interest without revealing yourself. If an employer requests to view your details and you give us permission, only then will they see your CV or name. This opens up more opportunities for you without exposing that you are in the market.

Does this affect my application for other roles?
No. If you applied for a particular role, we will run through our normal recruitment process to assist you with that role. The Talent Pool is just a convenient way to leverage the time you have invested with our consultants to open up more opportunities without exposing your details.
What happens next?
Once an Employer requests your CV, we will contact you. If you give permission to release it then we follow the typical recruitment process. We will liaise with you regarding setting up interviews, providing feedback, reference checking and facilitating offers.
How much does it cost to use the Talent Pool?
