The Role
A respected not-for-profit native title organisation is seeking an early-career Lawyer to join its Brisbane-based Operations team.
This role offers hands-on exposure to native title claims, future acts, cultural heritage matters and post-determination work within a supportive, interdisciplinary environment. You will work closely with senior lawyers, anthropologists and community engagement specialists, and engage directly with First Nations clients in a trauma-informed and culturally respectful way.

About You
- Admitted as a legal practitioner in Queensland (or eligible for admission)
- Minimum 1+ year post-admission experience (pre-admission experience in native title may also be considered i.e. working as paralegal in this sector)
- Experience in, or a strong interest in, native title and First Nations issues
- Strong drafting, research and written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel and undertake some weekend work as required
- Salary $109k + super
