Wills & Estates Solicitor – 5+ PAE (pref) | Hurstville (or Sydney CBD with weekly Hurstville office attendance)
An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Wills & Estates Solicitor (pref 5+ years PAE) to join its respected Wills & Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable practitioner who enjoys working directly with clients, managing matters autonomously, and being part of a collaborative and professional team. This role is full-time but part-time (4 days per week min) may be considered for the right person.

The role is based in Hurstville. Candidates based in the Sydney CBD will also be considered, provided they are able to attend the Hurstville office on a regular weekly basis. Flexibility and some WFH may be negotiated.

The Role
You will act for a diverse range of clients in all aspects of estate planning and advisory work, including:
- Drafting estate planning documents such as simple and complex Wills, Enduring Guardianships, Powers of Attorney and Trusts
- Advising the Estate Administration team on legal issues arising in probate and letters of administration matters
- Reporting to a Partner and working with other Wills & Estates solicitors / team members within the firm
- Managing your own files from instruction through to completion, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
- Liaising directly with clients, including seniors and business owners in their personal capacities
- Supervising and supporting junior staff where required
- Meeting reasonable billing and time recording KPIs
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 5 years’ post-admission experience in Wills & Estates (if you are a little short, still get in touch with me)
- Strong technical skills in estate planning, including complex Will drafting
- The confidence to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
- Excellent client communication skills and a compassionate, practical approach
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience supervising or mentoring staff (advantageous)
