You’ll take ownership of the legal and contractual aspects of Australian renewable projects, including:
- Structuring and drafting partnership, joint venture, and project contracts.
- Advising on legal issues at all stages of development and construction.
- Leading negotiations and legal transactions with commercial insight.
- Collaborating across teams to identify and mitigate risks.
- Developing creative legal solutions that will shape future energy outcomes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and providing high-level legal services.
- Australian-qualified lawyer with a law degree from an Australian university with at least 10 years PQE in mergers and acquisitions preferably in energy, renewable, construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience at a leading law firm or in-house, and strong contract drafting ability.
- Analytical, pragmatic, decisive, and confident working independently from day one.
- Thrives in dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments and enjoys teamwork.
- Ideally, prior experience in the renewable energy sector.
