Role Overview:
As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary or Conveyancer, you will work closely with our clients conveyancing solicitors and assist in providing high-quality support to clients throughout the property transaction process. You will be responsible for managing case files, preparing legal documents, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and the legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents related to residential and conveyancing transactions, including contracts, completion statements, and transfers of ownership
- Manage and maintain client files, ensuring all necessary documentation is filed and updated accurately
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to obtain necessary information and updates
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and property viewings
- Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team, including managing correspondence, phone calls, and emails
- Keep track of deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and compliance with legal requirements
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary or Conveyancer is essential, license is not necessary!
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Must have positive attitude and work well in team culture.
- PEXA knowledge and hands on experience
- Knowledge of current conveyancing procedures and regulations
- Previous Conveyancing experience is essential
