What you’ll do
- Lead a specialist legal practice delivering discrete advice, supervising clinics, and managing risk
- Support people self‑representing by helping them understand processes, prepare documents, and present their case
- Supervise and mentor lawyers + paralegals
- Build strong stakeholder relationships with courts, partners and referral pathways
- Drive service innovation through digital tools and integrated delivery models
About you You bring experience or other areas with transferable skills and experience:
- Civil law (credit/debt, building disputes, tenancy)
- Employment law
- Administrative law
- Contract or commercial disputes
- Tenancy law
A Principal‑level practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one) is required.
A week in the role might include
- Reviewing advice plans on tenancy appeals, bankruptcy, unpaid wages or breach of contract
- Meeting with court stakeholders to refine referral pathways
- Supervising secondees and reviewing clinic file notes
- Supporting staff with complex enquiries and workflow priorities
- Ensuring files meet risk and compliance standards
