About the Role
- Deliver professional and accurate legal advice across multiple practice areas.
- Draft, review, and produce legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and standard forms.
- Prepare materials for court appearances, client meetings, and hearings.
- Attend court for mentions, call-overs, and hearings, either independently or instructing counsel.
- Liaise professionally with clients, counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain file records, manage documentation, and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of billable hours and meet financial targets.

- Strong client focus, delivering timely and practical legal advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to clients, colleagues, and courts.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work autonomously.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and efficient use of legal technology, including LEAP Legal.
- Professional, discreet, and ethical approach with a collaborative team spirit.
- Law degree and Valid NSW Practising Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years PQE.
- Experience using LEAP Legal or similar practice management software.
- Demonstrated ability to draft complex legal documents and manage complex matters.
- Highly organised, reliable, and calm under pressure.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small firm environment.
