ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a motivated and commercially minded lawyer with at least 3 years PQE to join their busy Strata and Construction team. This is a well-rounded role offering exposure across both front-end contract work and back-end dispute litigation, allowing you to build deep expertise across all facets of strata and construction law. Day-to-day, you can expect to be involved in:

• Drafting legal advice letters and conducting research across strata and construction matters
• Preparing and reviewing building contracts
• Collating documents and evidence for building defect litigation across various jurisdictions
• Handling strata disputes and contract disputes
• Assisting in strata renewal proceedings in the Land and Environment Court of NSW
• Advising on remedial building works under the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020
• Supporting Partners and senior lawyers across all areas of the Construction and Strata practice

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 3 years PQE
• Strong technical skills gained from a litigation and/or construction background
• Confident in managing a high file load with a level of autonomy
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
• Adaptable and willing to turn your hand to a variety of tasks
